This fault targets the high-pressure fuel rail circuit, a critical component in Cat's common rail fuel injection system. The ECM continuously monitors fuel rail pressure to optimize injection timing and quantity. On used excavators, look specifically for chafed insulation, pinched wires, and green or white corrosion on connector pins. Clean connectors with electrical contact cleaner before proceeding.
