Twenty-four tons of proven Hitachi engineering, built in 2020 and currently sitting in Shandong. Configured with a backhoe bucket and traditional hydraulic power, the ZX240 is the class contractors reach for when the work is real: trenching, mass excavation, truck loading, site prep. Capable on paper — bankable in practice.

Why the ZX240 holds its value in the used market:

Parts network — Isuzu-derived engine and Hitachi hydraulics are backed by a dense dealer and aftermarket supply chain across China and into export markets.

Resale — ZX-series machines retain residual value better than most 20–25 ton competitors, keeping lifetime cost of ownership down.

Service familiarity — any competent field mechanic has wrenched a Hitachi; diagnostics and repair rarely need factory dispatch.

Fleet commonality — one of the most widely deployed 24-ton platforms worldwide, so consumables, attachments and buckets are easy to source.

Verify undercarriage wear, hydraulic pump pressure, and service history before committing. Well-documented, this machine is a low-risk buy in a market full of unknowns.
